Although it’s located outside of the I-285 loop, Atlantans make their way here each weekend. People travel from as far as England just to have a taste of the delicious BBQ ribs. The Braxton sisters and other celebrities have found their way here so don’t let them have all the fun. You should come too. Formed in 1952, this stellar rumba group is famous throughout Cuba. They also charmed audiences everywhere in the US on their first, second, and third US tours, in 1992, 1996, and 1998. They were back in August, 1999, in the Spring of 2000, again in 2001, and for the last time in the US, in 2002, after which George Bush blocked them. They are now scheduled to return in April, 2011. Founded in 1952, this Afro Cuban Ensemble is an – true institution – for Afro Rumba music and dance. These Cuban legends are back on the world stage. This magic Orchestra consists of musicians and dancers from three different generations. Together they preserve the traditions brought to Cuba from Africa, their families are renowned for Afro Cuban Folk music, which you can still find today everywhere in Cuba….
